Dr. Adam Malcolm

Dr. Adam Malcolm graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine with High Honors in 2001. Since that time, He has practiced veterinary medicine full time at Big Hollow Companion Animal Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. He is passionate about pets and providing them with first class health care. His special interests in animal medicine include the treatment and prevention of cancer, orthopedic surgery, and ultrasound imaging.

Dr. Alex Mickna

Dr. Alex graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Prior to veterinary school he received his Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of Illinois in 2017. Dr. Alex grew up on a small livestock farm in Deer Creek, IL. He and his wife have two children, along with their dogs Beatrice and Winston.

Dr. Adam Tatnall

Dr. Adam Tatnall graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Prior to veterinary school he received his Bachelors in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis in 2017. Dr. Tatnall is originally from a smalltown in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California.

He and his wife Amber live In Washington, IL along with their cat, Marzen. Outside of work he and his wife enjoy spending time exploring the great outdoors by hiking and camping at both state and national parks.

Dr. Kati Lothson

Dr. Kati Lothson

Dr. Kati Lothson graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024.  Prior to veterinary school she received her Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Illinois State University in 2020.

Dr. Kati originally grew up in DeKalb, Illinois.  She recently moved to the Peoria area along with her three cats she adopted in college; Kai, Tayla, & Coal. Outside of work she enjoys live music, gardening, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Dr. Kati is excited to start providing care to the Peoria community. Her special interests include preventative care and working with zoological companion animal species.
